Spiritjim Heads Arc Sale Additions

Group 2 winner Spiritjim (Fr) (Galileo {Ire}) heads an additional four lots added to next Saturday’s Arc Sale in Paris. The 5-year-old recently finished a close second to Postponed (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) in the G2 Prix Foy and connections plan to supplement the half-brother to Classic winner Silver Frost (Ire) (Verglas {Ire})for the following day’s highlight the G1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. Originally purchased as a yearling at Arqana for €310,000 Spiritjim will be offered as lot 50. Another to be offered with a Group 1 entry the following day is lot 40 La Berma (Ire) (Lawman {Fr}). Winner of a listed race at Longchamp in May the 3-year-old was most recently second in the G3 Prix du Pin at Longchamp Sept. 6 and has an entry in the G1 Prix de la Foret on Arc day. Saint Gregoire (Fr) (Le Havre {Ire}) has been added as lot 25. The 4-year-old colt, trained by Jean Claude Rouget is rated 100 and has won three times from nine runs. He was last seen Sept. 21 at Craon when beaten a neck in a listed race over a mile. The fourth supplementary lot is the 4-year-old gelding Zipzip (Ire) (Whipper), lot 20 in the catalogue and offered on the back of four straight wins most recently in a listed race at Longchamp Sept. 3.
